Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

Account information. Name, email address, and phone number when you sign up.

Trading data. Trades you log — instrument, entry/exit price, position size, P&L, notes, the trading rules you define, and any journal entries you write. This is the core data the Service is built around, and it is the most sensitive category we hold.

Assessment answers. If you take the free Behavioral Trading Assessment: your answers to the 33 questions (including the open-text reflections you write), the behavioral scores and archetype calculated from them, and — if you unlock the full report — the PDF report generated for you. Assessment answers are used to generate your report and are not sold or shared with advertisers.

Usage data. Pages visited, features used, and device/browser information, collected to keep the Service working correctly and to understand which features are actually useful. On the Assessment specifically, this includes which question screens you reach and roughly how long you spend on each, used only in aggregate to improve the Assessment's flow.

Payment information. Payments (subscriptions, or the ₹9 Assessment report unlock) are processed by Razorpay. We do not receive or store your card, UPI, or bank account details — Razorpay handles that directly and shares with us only confirmation that a payment succeeded or failed.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide the Service — logging trades, tracking discipline scores, generating your Morning Brief and Monthly Mirror Report.
• To operate Rule Guard, which checks new trades against rules you've defined.
• To send you transactional communications — confirmations, receipts, and service updates.
• To improve the Service based on aggregated, de-identified usage patterns.
• To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored with Supabase using row-level security, meaning your trading data is scoped to your account and is not accessible by other users. All data in transit is encrypted via SSL/TLS. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we apply industry-standard practices to protect your information.

4. Third-Party Services

We share the minimum data necessary with a small number of service providers who help us run TraderSaarthi:

• Supabase — database and authentication infrastructure.
• Razorpay — payment processing for subscriptions and the Assessment report unlock.
• Email delivery providers — for transactional emails such as receipts, account notifications, and your Assessment report.
• Google Analytics — website and Assessment usage analytics (pages visited, device/browser, approximate location, time on page). Only loads if you accept analytics cookies.
• Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram) — used to measure and optimise our ad campaigns and to show you relevant ads on Meta platforms. Only loads if you accept advertising cookies.
• Google Ads — used to measure the performance of our ad campaigns (e.g. on YouTube). Only loads if you accept advertising cookies.

We do not sell your personal or trading data. Aggregated, non-identifying usage data may be visible to Google and Meta through the above analytics/advertising tools, governed by their own privacy policies.

5. Your Rights

You can request to:

• Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate information in your account.
• Delete your account and associated data, subject to what we're required to retain for legal or accounting purposes (e.g. payment records).
• Export your trading data.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account and trading data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal and trading data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law (for example, transaction records for tax or accounting purposes).

7. Cookies

Essential. We use essential cookies/local storage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. These are always on and cannot be declined, as the Service will not function without them.

Analytics & advertising. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Service, and Meta Pixel / Google Ads to measure and improve our ad campaigns and show you relevant ads on Meta and Google platforms. These are off by default and only load after you click "Accept" on the cookie banner shown on your first visit. If you click "Decline," none of these scripts load and no analytics/advertising cookies are set. You can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this site, which will show the banner again.

8. Children's Privacy

TraderSaarthi is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact us and we will remove it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above, and, where appropriate, communicated directly to you.
